Patrick has dedicated his life to architecture and the firm he co-founded with Brigid in 1983. Patrick has taken his years of experience as a brilliant designer and used them to build a team that inspires clients, contractors, and colleagues alike. His passion for architectural design reaches every corner of his life: from the hands-on approach to every project that comes to the firm, to his commitment to teach and guide young architects, to his status as a sought-after speaker and expert in the field of architectural history. He has taken the time to develop an architectural pedigree and strong reputation in the Boston area, while still staying involved in the community.
Brigid co-founded Hickox Williams Architects in 1983, and has been adding her graceful and insightful design talent as principal to each project since. When Brigid sits down with a client, her intelligence and instincts take over, transforming a client’s vision into reality. In Brigid, you find the rare marriage of elegant creativity and practical business acumen. She can design beautiful structures with pure form, then turn them around and skillfully handle client concerns and contractor questions. Brigid is a dedicated member of both the architectural and service communities. She donates her time and design talent to non-profit organizations and sits on the boards for several area professional associations.
Rachael completed her bachelor of science in architecture and master of architecture at Northeastern University. Since joining Hickox Williams Architects in 2005, Rachael has worked on a wide variety of residential projects within the firm. She has a natural eye for detail and skillfully handles all aspects of project coordination.
Garrett received his bachelor of architecture from Syracuse University. He joined Hickox Williams Architects in 2017, with previous experience in institutional and commercial design. He excels at computer graphics and project documentation and has most recently spearheaded the firm’s rebranding effort. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
Bogie joined Hickox Williams Architects in 2017. He takes his role as Office Dog very seriously and always looks forward to coming into work with his human, Rachael. With his boundless energy, he always knows how to cheer up the team and is an expert at “finding the sunny spot.”
Elliott received his degree from Rhode Island School of Design. He originally joined Hickox Williams Architects in 2013 and recently returned in 2017. He is a talented designer who is able to tackle any project thrown his way. He also brings with him a broad range of professional experience from residential to hospitality design.
